"AT EQUILIBRIUM" is the newest treasure of Blickinsfreie´s eastern European snowboard documentaries. The movie deals with the passionate people developing snowboarding in Bulgaria.This years flick is featuring riders from more than 7 different countries including our team rider Jakub "Kamel" Honcz. "AT EQUILIBRIUM" will be premiered throughout Europe between October and December before it will be available as High Definition download by the end of December 2010.

JAKUB KAMEL HONCZ & BLICKINSFREIE.DE IN BULGARIA

After last years production of "From Romania with Love" flick, Rene
Eckert from Blickinsfreie started a new project - this time his choice
was BULGARIA. This years movie will, again, have polish accents -
first of all it will star polish riders - Michał Ligocki and Jakub
Kamel Honcz, and one of the companies supporting the whole movie is
CONTRACT SNOWBOARDS.

It's being shot in bulgarian mountains in Borovetz, Bansko, Osogovo
and Sofia. And as Kamel said: "I was expecting it to be below certain
standard, but everything here looks as in western resorts, and the
peaks are about 3000 meters high. We're working everyday, meeting new
people and getting to know Bulgaria - that's exactly what I like!"

The other riders to be featured in this movie are: Marc Swoboda, Darek
Bergmann, Enrico Cavada and Thomas Franc.

The movie premiere is planned for fall 2010, but in the meantime take
a peek at a few shots.

On February's last weekend, in a quiet place called "Ciche", not far away from Zakopane, Polish Big Air and Slope Style championships were held. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was great, the park was well prepared, and in those awesome conditions Kamel (riding ...Contract's next season board - model Citizen Shred) made two technically
perfect runs, packed with loads of stylish tricks, which landed him on the highest place on podium. Congrats!

This weekend, we have ended the IIIrd edition of BBF. As the orgs tell us, the winter performed splendidly, and so on Juliany, in Szczyrk, Poland, an awesome 13 meters long takeoff was built! The level of performance was pretty high, the conditions were really good, and so there were a lot of tricks in the air that day! Our own Martin Kalliola showed us what it means to be a real scandinavian viking, and with his arm broken and plastered, he scored 2nd, placing the contract flag very high! Congratulations!

snowboard, you’ll find the usual high spec staples like Honeycomb
inserts, Carbon and Kevlar reinforcement and triaxial glass. That’s not
revolutionary I hear you cry! However the Contract Guerrilla also
features Contract’s patent pending Snake Transition and T.R.I.P
technologies. Snake Transition technology introduces a 3D wave under
and between the bindings, this wave profile significantly increases
torsional rigidity without impacting on longitudinal flex, creating a
playful board that will pop and press like a freestyle board but hold

KTO 2009

On thursday, 15th october A.D. 2009, we set off towards Austria in a
tightly packed van. Our destination was of course the Kaunertal
Opening. Breaking each and ever possible rule on our way there, and
eating the famous Czech garlic soup, in a relatively short time we got
to Feichten (it was already late night). On friday morning we got up
and took a winding road to the glacier, where we have set our (new and
awesome) tent up, and we have proudly exhibited our boards and
bindings. Having done that, we have refreshed ourselves with a few
'weissbier's:)

Moments after the last sip from a bottle, people started lining up in front of our tent, in order to grab a Contract board for testing.
There were so many people interested in that, we barely managed to
prepare boards for all of them - for the whole three days we've had
more on our hands (and screwdrivers) then we could possibly handle.

Important fact is that our team of contract shredders was there with us, backed up by the kids from SYS project. We have used this occasion
to take a lot of shots of our riders, and to integrate the team
together.

Riding, Chilling, Riding – that’s the way SYS riders spend their time.

Our gadgets have met with a very warm welcome, especially from kids
who were learning to ski - we hope to see them on contract boards next
year! We also wanna say hello to the girl, who had both of her
bindings set up in completely wrong angles (-27 and -15) and all her
life, she's been riding on reverse ;)

Of course there was a competition on KTO. Adaś "Mysza" Myszkowski from our SYS project participated in this event, and performed an outstanding frontflip as his first trick, for which he was rewarded with a standing ovation.

Despite all of that, winter is almost here, so we're working till late night hours, drinking tons of coffee, we've made a super-cool catalogue, we have added bindings to our line of products, we're

planning promotion of our boards and choosing events for the coming winter. We are also looking forward to gaining new fans on facebook
(wink wink, nudge nudge).

KAMEL - PRAWDZIWA HISTORIA

Jakiś czas temu snowboardowym światem wstrząsnęła mrożąca krew w żyłach wieść:

Kamel, aby zarobić na życie, imał się różnych zajęć, na przykład próbował swoich sił w marketingu...

...jednak bez większego powodzenia. Na całe szczęście, w końcu i do niego los się uśmiechnął.
W czasach kryzysu, gdy czołowi zawodnicy tracą lukratywne kontrakty i szukają nowych sponsorów, Kamel kontraktu nie podpisał. Kamel poszedł o krok dalej. Kamel podpisał CONTRACT.
